Job Summary
Assist students with special needs in the classroom by supporting instruction, facilitating learning activities, and providing direct supervision under the guidance of certified staff. Maintain student records, manage behavioral interventions, and ensure a safe environment for all learners during the 185-day school year. Required Qualifications
- At least two years of study (60 semester hours) at an accredited institution of higher education
- An associate's degree (or higher)
- An approved state or local academic assessment that measures the paraprofessional's knowledge of and ability to assist in instruction at the appropriate level
- Passing the ParaPro Assessment (ETS.org) with a minimum score of 456
