Job Summary
Support special education and classroom teachers by reinforcing learning objectives, leading small group activities, and providing instructional support during online learning. Assist students in developing social/emotional skills and mastering classroom routines while ensuring a safe environment during lunch, recess, transitions, and bus loading/unloading. Collaborate with professionals to address IEP goals and maintain confidentiality. Maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor and be prepared to substitute or perform assigned duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited post-secondary institution or career technical facility
- Associate's Degree
- Successfully completed the ParaPro assessment
- Some experience in working with children
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Willingness to substitute or perform duties as requested
