Instructional Assistant - Special Education 1:1 (6th Grade)

Instructional Assistant for a 6th-grade special education 1:1 assignment. Supports the teacher in achieving objectives by working with individual students or small groups, assisting with district/state testing and accommodations, reinforcing material with individualized strategies, guiding independent/enrichment/remedial work, maintaining notebooks and records, supervising testing and makeup work, assisting with group activities and life skills, and facilitating assistive technology needs. Requires clear communication, ability to perform with independent judgment, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with teachers, substitutes, and staff. Full-time position (176 days, 35 hours/week) with a High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
