Job Summary
Assist teachers in general supervision of students, administer and record results of routine tests, and set up classrooms for activities. Collect and maintain instructional materials while explaining assignment guidelines and addressing student inquiries about course logistics. Support teachers with facilitating small group discussions and answer questions regarding materials. Report serious issues or problems to the instructor and provide occasional extra support to individual students as needed.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma
- official transcripts of at least two years of college (48 units)
- AA degree
- pass our online proficiency exam
- CBEST
- valid California Driver's License
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- successfully pass the District's pre-employment fingerprinting and TB testing
