Instructional Assistant - PreK-3 (DES)

Provide instructional support for PreK-3 by assisting a highly qualified teacher, preparing and duplicating instructional materials, and working with students to reinforce instruction. Perform general instructional-related duties, supervise students under teacher direction, maintain records and correct tests or homework when appropriate, and deliver instruction to students in individual or small group settings. Use computer skills, promote goodwill and understanding of county programs, and collaborate with staff to support a positive educational environment. Skills include cooperative work, strong written and spoken language abilities, effective communication, and the ability to support students through varied instructional activities.
