Instructional Assistant - Pre Kindergarten Structured Classroom

Coordinate instructional programs for special education students, including familiarizing yourself with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and assisting teachers with behavioral intervention strategies. Provide in-class support while promoting student independence, manage assistive technology and augmentative communication devices, and facilitate transitions between classes. Ensure a safe, healthful environment by monitoring student safety, assisting with personal hygiene and mobility needs, and maintaining confidentiality of records. Compile and file required reports while participating in district staff development. Work Monday through Friday, occasionally on evenings or weekends, with a maximum of 40 hours per week.
