Job Summary
Instructional Assistant role within Dare County Schools. Provides paraprofessional support under supervision of a certified teacher, reinforcing lessons in small groups or one-on-one, supervising students during learning activities, cafeteria, and recess, assisting with recordkeeping, and helping prepare materials. May support students with special needs (IEP goals) and life-skills development; does not design instruction or assessments. Full-time position in Manteo, NC under the supervision of the principal and classroom teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement: Associate’s Degree or equivalent; Experience working in an educational environment (substitute teaching, tutoring, etc.)
