Job Summary
Instructional Assistant provides one-on-one academic and behavioral support to students under the supervision of a lead teacher or principal. Assists with instruction, monitors safety and classroom behavior, leads small group activities, performs clerical duties, maintains records, and helps prepare instructional materials and displays. Requires high school diploma with 48 college hours and a valid NC driver’s license; duties include monitoring student well-being, crisis prevention, and occasional bus-driver responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma and a minimum of 48 hours of college level coursework
- Must hold a valid NC driver’s license and will be required to complete requirements for a NC bus driver’s license
