Job Summary
Supervise students assigned to In-School Suspension (ISS) and support a certified teacher to create and maintain a highly structured classroom environment. Assist individual students with assignments, coordinate with classroom teachers, record attendance and discipline referrals, manage student behavior per board policies and IEPs, maintain student files, and participate in meetings and district training. Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned; work in Colleyville, TX on a full-time basis starting for the 2024-2025 school year.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 48+ college credits (Associates degree or higher) or higher
- Education Aide Certificate is required (may be applied for once employed)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work well with children
- Proficient interpersonal and computer skills
- Regular and consistent attendance
