Instructional Assistant

Assist students individually or in small groups with academic and behavioral support as directed by the teacher while helping them stay engaged in classroom activities. Supervise students in classrooms and during transitions, including hallways, lunch, and recess, to maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive environment that values students' cultures and identities. Reinforce classroom expectations and positive behavior supports by following all school procedures and staff directions. Adapt to different classrooms and student needs across preschool through high school levels. Maintain confidentiality and follow FERPA guidelines while demonstrating reliability and flexibility.
