Instructional Assistant, In School Suspension

Manage the In School Suspension program by collecting and organizing student reports, providing daily feedback to school officials, and enforcing school rules to maintain an orderly environment. Enforce behavioral standards, collect student assignments with office aide assistance, and communicate with teachers regarding ISS placements. Contact parents to follow up on student status and assist in clerical duties related to student correspondence. Participate in training for conflict resolution and crisis intervention while maintaining emotional control and demonstrating clear communication skills during stressful situations. Adhere to McAllen ISD customer service standards and perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
