Job Summary
Responsible for assisting teachers and staff in working with students, organizing and implementing an instructional academic and behavioral program, performing varied clerical duties to support school operations, and carrying out other duties assigned by the principal and other administrative staff. Provides support to Student Services as part of School Related Personnel (SRP) with a schedule of 196 days per year. Requires an Associate Degree and completion of 60 college hours or a passing ParaPro test, plus mandated health trainings and background screening as required by district guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score of 457 on the ParaPro Test
- All employees must satisfactorily complete any required training
- Background screening requirements: Level II background screening through Pasco County Schools Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse (fingerprinting) and compliance guidelines
