Job Summary
Assist in the cafeteria and playground during lunch/recess, supervising students to ensure safety and well-being. Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and the community; work with children in a patient, friendly, and enthusiastic manner; support healthy eating and proper table hygiene; manage student traffic and subdue disorderly behavior as needed; follow district policies and procedures and perform duties in a safe manner. Reports to the Principal; 17.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; position classified as hourly, non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to monitor and supervise groups of students
- Follow directions and school procedures
- Effective communicator and cooperative work
- Knowledge of policies and rules
- Must read/write/speak English
- Background clearance
- Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
