Instructional Assistant: Exceptional Children

Collaborate with classroom teachers to lead small groups of students in curricular areas, building background knowledge and reinforcing learning concepts. Conduct assessments under supervision to evaluate instructional needs and report progress to assist with lesson plans. Organize instructional materials and supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, recess, and field trips. Maintain manual and electronic files for records, circulation reports, and asset management. Troubleshoot student and staff technology needs in the lab and distribute equipment. Adhere to established policies, safeguard student information, and participate in professional learning.
