Job Summary
Support students in a Title I public school setting by providing direct instructional assistance and facilitating learning activities for groups of children. Deliver foundational support in reading, writing, and computation while maintaining effective communication with staff and families. Maintain daily records and adhere to the 183-day full-time schedule effective for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must hold a high school diploma, an associate's degree, or pass the Parapro Assessment, along with proof of highly qualified certification. This role is part of the EES instructional team dedicated to enhancing student outcomes through targeted paraprofessional services.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or its recognized equivalent
- Completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education
- Hold an associate's (or higher) degree
- Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS
- Proof of highly qualified certification
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system
