Job Summary
Instructional Assistant to support small groups of students with lesson assignments, help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment, monitor students in the classroom, library, and playground, assist with activities (art, literacy, fine motor skills, bathrooming), and perform clerical tasks such as record keeping and using instructional media. Builds cooperative relationships with parents, students, and teachers. Requires a high school diploma or GED, prior school/treatment experience, DOJ/FBI Live Scan and TB clearance, and 18+ years old; preferred Pro-ACT, CPI, and/or CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a school or treatment setting
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proficient with standard software applications and the internet
