Job Summary
Supports the Teacher by assisting with classroom activities and student groups per instructional plans; helps plan activities, supports student and parent relations, participates in school activities and events, performs clerical duties (grading, copying), supports classroom technology, helps maintain classroom cleanliness, and adheres to school philosophy and policies; requires an Associate degree or two years of college coursework and successful BCI/FBI check; starting hourly wage is $15.00 with comprehensive benefits; employment at Lake Erie Preparatory School (ACCEL Schools) in Cleveland, OH for the 2026-2027 SY.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or two years of college coursework OR paraprofessional exam
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
- Ability to meet educational standards
- Ability to lift 25-40 lbs
- Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus
