Job Summary
Support elementary students (K-5) under supervision to assist teachers, reinforce instruction, and help maintain a positive, efficient classroom environment. Works with colleagues in a team-teaching setting and employs strong communication, interpersonal, and instructional-support skills to support student learning during summer school sessions in the Columbia Public School District.
Required Qualifications
- Missouri substitute teaching certificate
- 36+ college credit hours or Associates degree or 20-hour DESE sub course or ParaPro assessment
- Prior experience in a school setting and/or working with young people
