Job Summary
Provide instructional support to students in core academic areas and behavior support in inclusive classrooms, tutoring in small groups or one-to-one, preparing instructional materials, and assisting with curriculum modifications. Responsibilities include implementing behavior intervention plans, supervising testing accommodations, supporting field trips and school activities, and aiding distance learning using Zoom/Nearpod while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- A.A. degree or
- B.A. degree (or minimum 48 units in process) or
- Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment (passing score = 460)
- Experience working with students or children in academic or behavioral support setting
- Proficient with Google Suite applications (Google Classroom, Hangout, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Ability to support in-class and distance learning (e.g., Zoom, Nearpod)
