Job Summary
Provide instructional support in a K-12 classroom as an Instructional Aide I: assist the teacher by working with individuals or small groups to reinforce material, help devise and implement strategies for differing student needs, operate classroom equipment, distribute/collect materials, supervise students during drills and activities, and perform clerical tasks. Requires a High school diploma or GED and 60 college credits (or ParaPro score) with prior experience working with students preferred; part-time role at 30 hours/week in Yuma, AZ across an 184-day school year, including roles in Early Literacy support, playground supervision, crosswalk duty, and lunch/break routines. Performs other related duties as assigned and maintains confidentiality of student information.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Sixty (60) college credits or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment exam taken within the last 10 years
