Job Summary
Provide instructional assistance to students with direction and guidance of teacher and/or facilitator; work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts; assist in implementing IEPs and monitor progress; support students with functional and behavioral needs; collaborate with speech therapists, social workers, counselors, and therapists; assist with documenting student records and data collection; maintain classroom management, supervise activities, and assist with health-related needs and safety; participate in crisis prevention and intervention; assist with inventory and equipment maintenance; serve as a professional, supportive role model and work flexible hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of college or the equivalent is required in order to provide instruction to a student.
