Job Summary
Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Maintain a supportive environment by working well with children while following verbal and written instructions and communicating effectively. Some experience working with children in an instructional setting is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Educational Aide certificate
- Meets Highly Qualified status with either an Associate's degree or higher, 48 college hours or a certificate demonstrating state or local academic assessment
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Some experience working with children in an instructional setting
