Job Summary
Instructional Aide in Early Childhood Special Education supporting children ages 3-5 in a BECEP preschool setting. Responsibilities include assisting the teacher with daily planning, implementing and evaluating activities, supervising individuals or groups of children, assisting with supervision and care during designated school hours, helping with snack preparation and serving, assisting with loading/unloading buses, dressing, toileting, diapering, washing, and other activities as needed, supporting substitute teachers in their absence, maintaining documentation, upholding confidentiality, communicating child information to the teacher, following safety and emergency procedures, and contributing as a positive team member. Work hours are 7:15 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday with a half-hour lunch.
