Job Summary
Assist classroom teachers in implementing daily programs, managing learning environments, and supervising students in classrooms, cafeterias, and playgrounds. Prepare learning centers, handle general housekeeping and kitchen tasks, and operate audio-visual aids while maintaining confidentiality. Complete incident reports, participate in professional workshops, and model Christian virtues in all interactions. Work independently with K-12 students, lifting up to 25 pounds, and follow directions from supervising teachers and principals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a born-again Christian
- Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible
- Must be able to support and comply with the school's Statement of Faith and Christian Conduct
- Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church
- Have an understanding of and commitment to UCA's educational objectives and philosophy of education
- Must be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the school's educational philosophy
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, with proper command of the English language
- Able to work well independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks
- Ideal applicant will have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, have patience, and be able to relate well to children and employees
- Able to work with students of all grade levels (K-12)
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
- TB clearance within the last four years
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint clearance
- Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form
- Must be able to lift 15-25 pounds
- Must be professing, born-again Christian
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred applicant should be in the process of becoming professionally prepared to supervise young children, and meet the requirements of the licensing agency
