Instructional Aide - Autism

Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials, managing classroom displays, and administering objective testing instruments. Conduct instructional exercises with individual students or small groups while maintaining a neat, orderly classroom environment. Supervise students throughout the school day, including lunchroom, bus, and playground duty, and keep the teacher informed of special needs or problems. Help maintain equipment inventory, prepare administrative records and reports, and provide orientation to substitute teachers. Participate in staff development training and faculty meetings as assigned. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher with moderate physical demands involving standing, stooping, and lifting.
