Job Summary
Institutional & Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant role covering Birmingham South, AL requires building strategic relationships with institutions and neurologists, driving clinical demand and formulary access, developing territory business plans, and communicating the value of Asundexian in stroke prevention. Responsibilities include leading engagements with C-/D-suite and Head of Pharmacy stakeholders, navigating P&T committees, and analyzing competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks; preferred candidates have biotech/pharma sales experience in institutional settings and deep knowledge of stroke, anti-coagulation, neurology, and cardiovascular therapeutic areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, or institutional accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to meet customer credentialing and safety requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
