Job Summary
Drive process and control improvement by providing timely feedback to business partners across the segment. Review process maps, procedures, and control design language to inform risk assessments and potential enhancements supporting regulatory compliance. Identify opportunities to leverage data and automation to strengthen processes and increase efficiency. Effectively communicate applicable risks, reach consensus, and facilitate change within the Institutional Services product offerings. Manage several workstreams concurrently, balance competing priorities, and provide recurring status updates. This role reports to the Institutional Services Head of Control Design and enables the establishment of effective control processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years' higher education and/or work experience
- Including a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Banking and Capital Markets industry
- Three years of experience in formulating, developing and working within cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Management skills
- Ability to communicate concepts/theories and develop alternative recommendations
- Ability to make effective presentations to all levels of the organization
- Ability to build consensus
- Ability to move projects forward despite roadblocks and competing functional priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative/analytical discipline such as Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Master's degree
- Public accounting experience on audits of banking industry SEC registrants
