Job Summary
Develop complex queries in PL/SQL Developer and Banner to manipulate student data for uploading into third-party products and generating reports for the Fact Book, System Metrics, and Program Review. Extract and submit semester/annual reports for IPEDS, NCES, and other regulatory bodies while producing professional charts and tables for governing and compliance bodies. Design, administer, and consult on online survey tools and assessment technologies, providing training and coordinating program reviews for academic and administrative units. Collaborate with campus professionals to interpret research results and identify data needs, serving as administrator for the university course evaluation process.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in applicable field
- One year of related experience in quantitative and qualitative techniques, research designs, assessment protocols, or other related field
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Knowledge of statistical software
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding
- Knowledge of query tools such as PL/SQL Developer, Toad, and SQL*Plus
- Experience with Banner student information system (SIS)
- Familiarity with strategic planning and assessment processes
- Ability to build queries in a relational database using SQL and/or Web FOCUS
Desired Qualifications
- Significant quantitative analysis course work at the undergraduate level
- Master's degree in computer science, quantitative business area, or social sciences related field
