Job Summary
Institutional Client Services Representative role requiring fluency in French, German, and English to service IBKR's professional clients (banks, hedge funds, financial advisors, and introducing brokers). Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical, account, and trade-related queries via telephone, ticket, and live chat; escalating high-level issues; contributing to ad hoc projects; and client training with a focus on onboarding and expanding global product/service offerings. Strong knowledge of equities, options, futures, and FX is expected, along with analytical problem-solving and a passion for technology and financial markets. Bachelor's degree in Economics/Banking/Finance or equivalent apprenticeship is required, with 1-2 years of client-facing experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in French, German, and English (additional European languages a plus)
- 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing capacity at a global financial institution (consideration for less-experienced candidates with core competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Banking, or Finance, or a commercial banking apprenticeship with relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of listed equities, options, futures, and/or FX
- Prior experience in international settlements or clearing operations is a plus
- Analytical problem-solver with a passion for technology and financial markets
