Job Summary
Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety requirements to meet daily labor and waste goals. Utilize the Digital Production System to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents, and communicate with support functions. Complete changeovers for assigned equipment, accurately complete quality and traceability paperwork, and report product deficiencies or safety concerns immediately. Maintain a clean workstation, perform minor equipment adjustments, and follow all safety procedures and emergency action plans. Ensure products meet customer standards and regulatory requirements while supporting food safety and quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred
- Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment
- Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions
- Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
