Job Summary
Operate production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety requirements to meet daily labor and waste goals. Utilize the Digital Production System to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents, and communicate with support functions. Complete changeovers for assigned equipment, maintain a clean workstation, and perform minor adjustments to ensure optimal operation. Accurately complete all quality, traceability, and production paperwork while reporting any product deficiencies or safety concerns immediately. Follow all safety procedures, emergency action plans, and regulatory requirements to ensure food-safe products. High school diploma required; 2+ years of machine operating experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of machine operating/production experience preferred
- Technical skills include the ability to start and stop equipment, complete a changeover, and operate one piece of equipment
- Interpersonal skills include good verbal and written communication, good time management skills and the ability to follow rules and directions
- Leadership skills include a positive attitude, being a team player and self-leadership
