Job Summary
The Installshield Developer position focuses on application packaging with expertise in Installshield, Windows Installer, and scripting for automation and deployment. Candidates should be skilled in designing installation dialogs, handling Windows configuration updates, and managing system restarts. Proficiency in PowerShell, .NET frameworks, and C# for application development is required. Required Qualifications
- Expertise in Application Packaging using Installshield (Basic MSI and Advanced SUITE)
- Expertise in designing dialogs using Installshield
- Expertise in Windows Installer, MSI and MSP
- Handle Windows configuration updates
- Understand and manage system restarts during installation
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts
- Ability to programmatically install application software on Linux
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET technologies
- Implement and manage .NET application updates and deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell and .NET framework
- Extensive experience with InstallShield
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and deployment
- Strong Windows scripting skills
- Familiarity with database software installation (e.g., MySQL)
- Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
