Job Summary
Assist in the installation of quality fencing solutions by gathering materials, loading and unloading trucks, and preparing work areas by clearing debris and marking boundaries. Follow instructions to support the Crew Lead and Installers in all aspects of the job, ensuring safety, efficiency, and the highest standards of work while reading and understanding paperwork. Maintain a positive work ethic, contribute to a safe and orderly job site, and adhere to all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment. Lift, push, and carry 50–70 pounds while working in various conditions. Drive to Morris Plains, NJ, and report to work on time. Required Qualifications
- Driving license required
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold
- Report to work on time
- Willingness to undertake training if necessary
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred
- Previous related experience preferred
- Construction background (Preferred)
- Installation of Mailbox and Mail Post, Fence work (Preferred)
- Tool handling skill set required: (Drill, screw driver, chipping hammer, Sanding, multitool, and so on)
- A strong work ethic, ready to give a full day's work for a full day's pay, enjoying the physical aspects of the job
- Excellent teamwork abilities, willing to support and work well with the entire installation crew
- An independent and proactive learner, constantly seeking ways to improve skills and contribute more effectively
- Respect for rules, procedures, and people, following leadership and treating everyone with kindness and consideration
- Must be able to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials
