Job Summary
Complete assigned cabinetry installation jobs by reading shop drawings, plan views, and elevations while utilizing hand tools, miter saws, and power tools. Input job data into required computer programs and manage layouts from blueprints. Lift 50+ lbs multiple times per day and stand for long periods while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Solve problems and make decisions effectively with strong attention to detail. Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean record. Ensure safety compliance and organize work prioritization to finish projects timely.
Required Qualifications
- Cabinetry knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize basic carpentry hand tools and machinery
- Ability to read and follow shop drawings, plan views and elevations
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. multiple times per day
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- 2 years of cabinetry / construction
- Knowledge of General Safety Practices or OSHA
- Ability to use hand tools, reciprocating and miter saws, and power tools correctly and safely
- Ability to use applications on a cell phone
- Ability to read layouts from blueprints
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and carpentry techniques
- High School Degree or GED
- Ability to be fit for duty
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in loud work areas
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to make well thought out decisions
- Ability to be organized
