Job Summary
Installer to assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems on rooftops across residential sites. Responsibilities include assembling and installing solar panels on roofs, configuring PV systems based on site conditions, connecting panels to the power grid, ensuring weather sealing, performing routine maintenance, and assisting the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system. Requires reading building plans and equipment manuals; proficient use of hand and power tools; familiarity with ION technology (e.g., Paycom, Field Pro, Salesforce). Works as part of a team outdoors, with emphasis on safety and quality control; must lift at least 50 pounds and work at heights. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred. Experience in solar, roofing, or construction preferred.
