Job Summary
The Installer III is a key position responsible for leading installation teams in executing complex installations of architectural elements, signage systems, and specialty components while ensuring compliance with DI’s quality standards and safety policies. This role requires interpreting drawings, planning install sequencing, coordinating with project managers, troubleshooting field challenges, and mentoring other installers. Extensive travel and fabrication shop work are necessary, alongside responsibilities such as maintaining a safe work environment, completing work accurately and on time, and communicating project progress effectively. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage the complexities of installation projects.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience on an installation team in signage or specialty construction
- Proven ability to use tools as detailed in the Install Handbook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and direct others
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice
- Proficient in low voltage electrical circuitry
- Supervisory or leadership experience required
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- MEC certification required
- Experience installing vinyl and graphics preferred
