Job Summary
Installer II is responsible for installing and de-installing modular furniture systems as assigned. The role involves physically lifting, carrying, and moving furniture and equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring quality installations without damage. Effective communication with supervisors and customers is necessary, along with adherence to safety and security protocols. The position requires organization skills, the ability to read plans, and familiarity with moving equipment. Training of Installer I employees and following daily work schedules are also key responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or general education degree (GED)
- Two (2) years of installation/moving experience
- Valid California driver's license may be required
- Knowledge of various moving equipment and its proper usage
Additional Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing
- Must pass criminal background checks, including 4-year employment verifications
