Job Summary
Installer II role performing site preparation including layout marking and traffic control, assisting with pavement slot cutting and sensor layouts, installing sensor wiring with sealant under supervision, conducting basic electrical tests with guidance, documenting work, maintaining tools, supporting troubleshooting of simple faults, and adhering to jobsite safety protocols. Requires outdoor physical labor, ability to lift 50+ lbs, willingness to travel with the Alberta crew, and strong communication with project managers and traffic control technicians. Growth toward independent Traffic Sensor installation and Weigh-In-Motion skills is available.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years in construction, electrical, traffic, or related fields.
- Prior Traffic Sensor installation experience is helpful but not required.
