Job Summary
Install, service, remove, and retrieve electronic monitoring and GPS devices within specified timeframes at Adult Probation-Parole, Juvenile Justice offices, or residences. Troubleshoot equipment problems, complete online work submissions, maintain inventory levels, and clean devices worn by probationers. Report work performance, encountered problems, and inventory status to management as requested. Perform duties within the listed County and surrounding area, with some after-hours work expected. Submit applications for training workshops in areas of need. Successful applicants must possess considerable work availability during 8am-5pm, hold a valid driver's license, and have current auto liability insurance. Candidates must not have prior supervised probation, pass background and drug screenings, and be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must not have been on supervised probation in the past
- Applicants must pass background and drug screenings
- Applicants cannot be a current employee NC Department of Adult Correction (NCDAC) or NC Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ)
- If you are a former NCDAC/NCDJJ employee you must have left on good terms no matter the reason for your departure
- Successful applicant(s) will voluntarily work in his/her geographic area on an as needed basis only
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- Applicants must have a valid driver's license
- Applicants must have current auto liability insurance tied to the vehicle in which work will be completed
- Applicants must have considerable work availability during 8am-5pm
