Job Summary
Gas Fireplace installation, maintenance, and repair specialist (G2) responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing, and repairing residential gas fireplaces and heating appliances. Perform gas line connections, leak testing, and system diagnostics while ensuring compliance with Ontario gas safety codes. Communicate clearly with clients and collaborate with team members and office staff to schedule and complete jobs safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe job site; demonstrate strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and organizational skills; candidate must hold a valid G2 gas technician license, at least 2 years of residential gas fitting experience, valid driver’s license with clean driving record, and prefer WETT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid G2 Gas Technician License in Ontario
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential gas fitting
- WETT Certification (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
