Job Summary
Installer for fire alarm systems and access-control equipment installation, with reading of plans/drawings, assisting troubleshooting, and ensuring customer satisfaction; requires NEC & NFPA knowledge, hands-on tool use, punctuality, professional presentation, and ability to pass background and drug tests; physical duties include lifting and working in various weather and high-noise environments; benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k, PTO, holidays, EAP, disability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience installing and/or testing, inspecting, and performing minor repairs on fire alarm systems or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential functions
- Be able to professionally present yourself
- Must be able to work with various basic hand tools, follow directions, and be able to read and write
- Knowledgeable of NEC & NFPA codes and regulations
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions
- Ability to show up on time, ready to work, and in uniform
- Ability to abide by basic safe work practices
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
- Must successfully pass a background check & drug test
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
