Job Summary
Install hand railings and other architectural metal products on commercial construction job sites throughout the GTA. Pick products, load and unload company vehicles, and utilize PPE and hand tools to ensure safe work practices while maintaining site cleanliness. Read tape measures and prints, communicate effectively with team members and customers, and manage priorities to complete work on time without direct supervision. Requires demonstrated TIG welding experience on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, plus 2+ years in construction trades. Must hold a current driver's license with a clean record for vehicle use. Temp contract through February/March; paid hotel accommodations and per diem provided for travel days.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely perform TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Demonstrated experience performing high-quality TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current driver's license
- Clean driving record
- 2+ years of experience in the construction trades
- Able to read a tape measure and prints
- Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
- Able to manage priorities and complete work effectively and on time without direct supervision
- Must be available to travel Monday through Friday
