Job Summary
Lumibuild is hiring an experienced and energetic AV Installer in Emeryville, CA to mount projectors, motorized projector screens, displays, and microphones; install low-voltage wiring (Cat5, RG6, etc); read/interpret schematics/drawings; use hand and power tools, solder and crimp connectors; and collaborate with General Contractors. The role is full-time with travel around the Bay Area, requires CTS familiarity, and emphasizes organizational skills and career development in the commercial AV industry.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of commercial AV installation experience
- CTS certification is a plus
- Familiarity with Extron, Crestron and various audio DSPs
- Ability to read/interpret schematics and drawings
- Work off of a ladder
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license
- Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary
