Job Summary
Installed Sales Project Supervisor oversees installations and repairs performed by Installers and subcontractors, coordinating schedules, analyzing job sites, ensuring quality installation per plan and contract, managing safety and training, performing material take-offs and estimating, and driving projects to timely completion with the Installed Sales Manager. Emphasizes strong customer service, knowledge of building materials and local codes, and leadership of installers/contractors to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous project management or on site experience in a building materials/construction environment
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and process improvements
- Ability to solve problems by using strong judgment in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating the problem
- Possess strong math skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems
- Responsibilities of the Position: Project Management; Scheduling and coordinating installed services; Analyzes job site with subcontractor prior to beginning of a job; Interprets plan to ensure that quality installation can be completed; Oversees subcontractors work; Provides status of projects; Estimating; Estimates material take-off; Ensures materials are ordered; Knowledge & Training; Direct installers/contractors; Safety; Ensures Installers/contractors are performing safely; Directs and facilitates best practices to ensure safety standards are met
