Job Summary
Installation Technician role responsible for automotive tire services, oil changes, MPI inspections, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance while maintaining safety, following VIP processes, and ensuring quality work. Requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) or equivalents, state inspection license, and equipment safety certification. Will perform vehicle inspections, advise customers, complete service work orders, and participate in safety and loss-prevention programs. Standard schedule is 5 days, 40 hours per week; role is hourly/non-exempt. Training across LMS, safety, and technical certifications is required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
