Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive service delivery including tire services, oil changes, under-hood services, MPIs, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance; must follow safety policies, complete required LMS training, and possess or pursue ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) and a State Inspection License. Maintain service work orders, obtain parts from the desk team, perform quality and safety checks, support 5-for-5 customer engagement, and ensure compliance with VIP’s procedures and environmental/safety regulations. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to shop standards in a 40-hour work week with potential certification maintenance, shop cleanliness, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
