Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire and maintenance services, safety compliance, accurate service work orders, MPI inspections, and customer communication while following VIP processes. Duties include tire services, oil changes, under-hood services, wheel alignments, preventive maintenance, parts handling, and maintaining shop safety and cleanliness. Requires ASE certifications (G1/A4/A5) or equivalent, state inspection license, and ongoing training; assumes a non-exempt hourly role with typical 40-hour workweek.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals and procedures
