Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire service, oil changes, and under-hood maintenance (batteries, filters, bulbs, wipers), plus multi-point vehicle inspections, wheel alignments, and preventive maintenance to meet VIP quality standards. Must follow safety policies, complete required training, and perform services with attention to Service Work Orders, MPI completion, and 5-for-5 customer engagement. Role requires obtaining needed parts through the desk, returning unused parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness and safety. Requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5), state inspection license, and ongoing LMS training; role includes road testing and adherence to hazardous waste disposal procedures; typical schedule is five days per week, 40 hours, non-exempt hourly position.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
