Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive repair and maintenance services including Tire Services, Oil Changes, Under hood Services, MPIs, Wheel Alignments, and Preventive Maintenance. Must follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; ensure Service Work Orders are initiated and completed; maintain MPI and service documentation; obtain needed parts through the Desk Team; achieve productivity targets and uphold VIP quality standards; complete required training and ASE certifications; perform duties in a shop environment with emphasis on safety and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations; Explain vehicle information to customers; Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems
