Job Summary
Installation Technician responsible for automotive tire, fluid, and parts service with emphasis on safety, accurate service work orders, MPIs, and 5-for-5 customer engagement. Must perform tire and vehicle maintenance, ensure proper documentation, acquire parts through the desk, and uphold VIP quality standards. Requires ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5), state inspection license, and ongoing training; standard schedule is five days per week, 40 hours. Must read and interpret technical instructions, diagnose basic automotive issues, and communicate effectively with customers; workplace safety and compliance are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- One year of related experience in automotive service field
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- ASE Certification A4 – Suspension & Steering
- ASE Certification A5 – Brakes
- State Inspection License
